Tato práce se věnuje arachnofauně postindustriálních stanovišť v okolí Horní Břízy. Inventarizační průzkum probíhal od 21. 4. 2022 do 19. 10. 2022 na lokalitách, které jsou výrazně ovlivněny antropogenními vlivy. Ke sběru vzorků byly použity zemní pasti, prosevy, individuální sběr a determinováni byli i pavouci odchycení do UV přenositelného světelného lapače. Průzkum pobíhal na deseti antropogenně ovlivněných stanovištích, přičemž polovina stanovišť byla charakteristická přirozeným vývojem vegetace a na zbylých byla provedena rekultivace dosazením borovice lesní. Celkem bylo zaznamenáno 69 druhů v 19 čeledích. Významné nalezené druhy spadající do kategorie LC (téměř ohrožené) jsou pavučenka ploskonosá (Mecopisthes silus) a běžník plochý (Coriarachne depressa), v kategorii VU (zranitelné) jsou plachetnatka kmenová (Agyneta innotabilis), slíďák vřesový (Pardosa nigriceps), mikarie slezská (Micaria silesiaca), skákavka masková (Sitticus saxicola) a skákavka bělovousá (Talavera petrensis). Do kategorie EN (ohrožené) patří tyto druhy: pavučenka chocholkovitá (Walckenaeria monoceros), skálovka brýlová (Drassyllus pumilus) a skákavka šedá (Attulus distinguendus).

Taking the regular overwintering of spider species in land snail shells as a model, we studied environmental conditions affecting the choice of overwintering sites in three jumping spider species: Pellenes tripunctatus, Pellenes nigrociliatus, and Attulus penicillatus. The research was conducted at 11 steppe localities on calcareous bedrock with abundant empty shells (mainly Caucasotachea vindobonensis and Xerolenta obvia). We documented 889 shells and collected 186 of them, of which 113 were inhabited by 146 spider individuals (13 species). Our three focal species made up 81.5% of these. We found different environmental preferences between the sexes in Pellenes tripunctatus and Pellenes nigrociliatus. These females preferred shells with more vegetation nearby. In the case of Pellenes tripunctatus, these were shells with a higher proportion of herbs, whereas Pellenes nigrociliatus selected for a higher proportion of moss. In the immediate vicinity of the shells, environmental conditions did not differ significantly. We found insufficient Attulus penicillatus to determine any preferences. We also recorded six overwintering Pellenes tripunctatus individuals in a single shell (in environmental conditions preferred by females), consisting of five females and one male, which indicated an unusual social behavior for these spider species.



A total of 99 spider species from 23 families and two harvestmen species were found during the zoological survey at several sites in Podyjí National Park during 2020. Of them, thirty species are listed in the Red List of Spiders of the Czech Republic. Four new species for Podyjí NP were recorded – Canariphantes nanus (Kulczyński, 1898), Micaria dives (Lucas, 1846), Erigonoplus jarmilae (Miller, 1943) and Ipa keyserlingi (Ausserer, 1867). Other rare species include Alopecosa sulzeri (Pavesi, 1873), Amaurobius jugorum L. Koch, 1868, Arctosa figurata (Simon, 1876), Attulus saltator (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1868), Berlandina cinerea (Menge, 1872), Callilepis schuszteri (Herman, 1879), Drassyllus villicus (Thorell, 1875), Echemus angustifrons (Westring, 1861), Eresus kollari Rossi, 1846, Evarcha laetabunda (C. L. Koch, 1846), Gnaphosa bicolor (Hahn, 1833), Gnaphosa lugubris (C. L. Koch, 1839), Gnaphosa opaca Herman, 1879, Haplodrassus dalmatensis (L. Koch, 1866), Lasaeola coracina (C. L. Koch, 1837), Minicia marginella (Wider, 1834), Pardosa bifasciata (C. L. Koch, 1834), Phrurolithus pullatus Kulczyński, 1897, Psammitis ninnii (Thorell, 1872), Pseudeuophrys obsoleta (Simon, 1868), Simitidion simile (C. L. Koch, 1836), Thanatus arenarius L. Koch, 1872, Thomisus onustus Walckenaer, 1805, Trichopterna cito (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1873), Zelotes erebeus (Thorell, 1871), Zora manicata Simon, 1878 and the harvestman Egaenus convexus (C. L. Koch, 1835).

The studied locality, i.e. Klánovický les Forest is situated on the edge of Prague, one of the most polluted areas in the Czech Republic. Thanks to large area the forest acts as an isolation from agrochemicals, thus allowing the existence of some habitats sensitive to eutrophisation, in particular peat-bogs, heaths, bare sandy soils, and Molinia meadows. The habitats harbour unusually high species diversity of spiders and harvestmen: the author recorded 286 spider and 11 harvestman species there, which is approximately one third of the Czech fauna. Sixty one of them are red-listed in the Czech Republic. Peat-bog linyphiid Saaristoa abnormis, and steppe lycosid Alopecosa schmidti and linyphiid Panamomops inconspicuus are listed as endangered. Local small peat-bogs offer suitable conditions for disappearing lycosids Hygrolycosa rubrofasciata, Pirata piscatorius and Piratula uliginosa, while heaths harbour the disappearing Oxyopes ramosus. Water spider Argyroneta aquatica has recently been found in small pools in ditches along the railway. Littoral vegetation is inhabited by Theridiosoma gemmosum and the jumping spider Calositticus floricola. Disturbed soil surface of wet meadows harbours the wolf spider Arctosa leopardus. Some species have recently appeared at the site, for example Dysdera hungarica, the harvestman Nemastoma bidentatum sparsum or the crab spider Synema globosum. The first two were probably introduced there by man, the latter probably expands due to climate change. The author suggests to keep these habitats without woody vegetation to protect local high species diversity there.

V roce 2012–2013 byl proveden první inventarizační průzkum pavouků v NPR Zástudánčí. Na území rezervace bylo zjištěno 117 druhů pavouků z 21 čeledí. Druhy Arctosa cinerea, Caviphantes saxetorum, Clubiona germanica a Sitticus dzieduszyckii jsou zařazeny v červeném seznamu pavouků ČR a jsou zároveň nejvýznamnějšími nálezy. Pavučenka Caviphantes saxetorum je novým druhem pro Českou republiku. Nejzajímavější společenstvo pavouků bylo zjištěno na štěrkových náplavech v meandru řeky Moravy.

Open interior sands represent a highly threatened habitat in Europe. In recent times, their associated organisms have often found secondary refuges outside their natural habitats, mainly in sand pits. We investigated the effects of different restoration approaches, i.e. spontaneous succession without additional disturbances, spontaneous succession with additional disturbances caused by recreational activities, and forestry reclamation, on the diversity and conservation values of spiders, beetles, flies, bees and wasps, orthopterans and vascular plants in a large sand pit in the Czech Republic, Central Europe. Out of 406 species recorded in total, 112 were classified as open sand specialists and 71 as threatened. The sites restored through spontaneous succession with additional disturbances hosted the largest proportion of open sand specialists and threatened species. The forestry reclamations, in contrast, hosted few such species. The sites with spontaneous succession without disturbances represent a transition between these two approaches. While restoration through spontaneous succession favours biodiversity in contrast to forestry reclamation, additional disturbances are necessary to maintain early successional habitats essential for threatened species and open sand specialists.  Therefore, recreational activities seem to be an economically efficient restoration tool that will also benefit biodiversity in sand pits.

Klub mladých přírodovědců (KMP) při ZOO Praha, zájmový útvar pro středškolskou a vysokoškolskou mládež pořádá v rámci svého programu každoročně v období prázdnin (červenec - srpen) ekologický kurz. Úkolem kurzu je ověřit si získané poznatky a získat další zkušenosti s vědeckou prací.

V tomto roce se kurz konal v Národním parku Podyjí, kde jsme prováděli inventarizační průzkum vybrané lokality z hlediska botanického i zoologického. Součástí programu kurzu bylo i vypracování zprávy o výsledcích růzkumu, která bude poskytnuta k dalšímu zpracování správě NP Podyjí.
